Writing, illustrating, designing and carrying out a project has never been easy for a visionary, whatever message or vision he or she wishes to convey to the world.However, a website is the essential tool for keeping Preserve Hope Organization in touch with people and sharing the truth around the world. Therefore, as a professional website designer and writer, I am committed to creating a brand new, high quality website for my fellow Haitians.
My name is Yvans Badet, as Founder, President and Executive Director of Preserve Hope, allow me to introduce myself briefly, then you can get to know me better in this task which requires a lot of sacrifices.
Absolutely, I was born in Haiti, in Port-au-Prince in 1975 and I grew up in a printing shop belonging to my father. It was at the age of 13, when I became one of his employees until 2004.
I did my primary studies at the Smith Duplessis National School, then my secondary studies at the Classical Education College (CEC) and I obtained a training in computer science at the École Supérieure d'Infotronique d'Haiti (ESIH ). My particular dream was to get a master's degree in civil engineering from GOC University, but, I was unable to complete the last two years of study.
Four years after my residency in the United States, in 2012, I obtained a degree in Web Design. Then I was certified as a School Bus Driver Examiner in Elmont, New York. And later, in 20118, I got another certification as a School Bus Instructor in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Indeed, the leadership I received from my father and my passion for philosophy made me particularly concerned about the inner and outer world around me. As a result, I took online theology training and graduated in 2014. Spiritually, the experience I had transformed my life. I become smarter, easier to understand and do things that would seem mysterious to others.
Ensuite, j’ai reçu des formations et des certifications avec US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights (USIDHR), telles que : Consultant en Droits de l'homme, Consultant en Prévention de Traffic des personnes, Consultant en Affaires, Protocole et Éthique Diplomatique.
De plus, j’ai reçu des formations et des certifications de l'UNICEF et de l’UNESCO, telles que : Formation sur la participation des adolescents et l'engagement civique des enfants ; Formation en ligne sur la protection de l’enfance ; Formation en Éthique et intégrité à l'UNICEF 2020 ; Formation en Normes minimales d'assistance alimentaire ; Formation sur les enfants et les changements climatiques ; Formation en Prévention de l'exploitation et des abus sexuels (PSEA) ; Enfin et surtout, une formation aux services d'eau potable, d'assainissement et d'hygiène (WASH).
